Amit Mehta is an American jurist. He serves on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, where he has presided over nationally significant cases involving antitrust law, executive power, and the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. His work has placed him at the center of some of the most consequential federal litigation of the twenty-first century.
