Sesh Iyer is the EVP of Ops, Technology and Digital Transformation at the Chubb Insurance Group.  Before Chubb, he was the North America Chair at BCG X, the Boston Consulting Group’s design and build business. Sesh was an author of the early versions of the Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) that became a benchmark for software process improvement across defense, aerospace, and technology organizations. As one of the first members of the CMMI Product Development Team at Carnegie Mellon’s Software Engineering Institute, he worked alongside colleagues from industry and government to build the model’s structure and content, contributing to CMMI v1.1, released in 2002. Sesh’s contributions reflected the growing role of Indian-origin technologists in shaping the standards and infrastructure that support American national security and the global software industry.
