Cathy Bissoon is an American jurist. In 2011, she became the first South Asian American woman confirmed to an Article III federal judgeship. She serves on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, where she has presided over a broad range of federal civil and criminal cases. Her appointment expanded Indian American and South Asian representation on the federal bench.
