Kavita Ramdas is a global development leader and advocate for women’s rights whose career has reshaped international philanthropy. As President and CEO of the Global Fund for Women from 1996 to 2010, she expanded one of the world’s leading foundations supporting grassroots feminist organizations across more than 170 countries. She later held senior leadership roles at the Ford Foundation and Open Society Foundations, advancing gender justice, democratic participation, and social equity.
