Raj Bhavsar is a former American gymnast and Olympic medalist. A member of the U.S. men’s gymnastics team, he won a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, becoming the first Indian American man to reach the Olympic gymnastics podium. A five-time U.S. national team member, Bhavsar combined athletic achievement with advocacy for youth development and access to sport. His Olympic success expanded the visibility of Indian Americans in international gymnastics.
